Whattya say... (Wednesday, April 02, 2008)

DISCLAIMER: this blog is mine & mine alone. Thou shalt not blame family nor friends nor employer for what you may read here.

All I can say is that I have a lot to say, but don’t have the energy to say it (right now), and am not sure how much I should say. So I won’t say anymore right now but maybe I’ll say it later.

Upon further review...a brief update while I have a sudden burst of quasi-energy...

Moved into my new house (still renting), and dig it. Still have stuff to put away, but I’m almost there. Had to let two of the dogs go to live w/close friends, which was hard, but all the while easier knowing they’ll be well cared for, and happy. Work is back to kicking my ass, but I got a few hard shots in today & made marked progress. I may have taken this round. I think I evicted one of my multiple personalities; it’s a lot quieter in my head and there seems to be more room up there. But that begs the question: did I get rid of the good alter ego or the bad, which one moved out? Shit....FL is turning warmer by the day - 80+ all week, 85’ish. Had a visitor in town from Up North, and they commented that Spring here feels like Summer in the northern hinterlands. No air-con needed yet but it’s getting toasty mmm hmm...Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. The stressful moments - especially those that stretch into minutes, hours, days, etc. make you appreciate the peaceful times that much more. Baseball has finally started! Even if I’m not a fan of either team playing, there’s something comforting & familiar about hearing a game on in the background. I can sit & watch (kinda like football) even if I’m not invested or interested in either team. Can’t say that about basketball, curling, hockey, or team aqua-gymnastics. Evander Holyfield & Riddick Bowe had three hellacious fights back in the 90’s, veritable slug-fests if ever there were. Both were heavyweight monsters. Too bad Mike Tyson had a one-way, express, non-stop ticket for Bolivion, otherwise he coulda been the GOAT (Greatest of All Time). Going grocery shopping kinda sucks. Having no food in the house sucks even more. So I’m outtie. Peace.
