This is kinda the unabridged explanation or captioning of the photos of two of my latest tattoos in my Pics section. First, they were done (as captioned) by Irish at Atomic Tattoos on Ulmerton Road in Largo, FL. If you're thinking of getting some ink, be it your first or "another" piece, I cannot recommend Irish any more highly. The Phoenix & Atlas were both custom pieces which he drew up for me. He's a helluva artist, and an equally exceptional tattooist. Not to mention a bloody riot to shoot the shit with. If you don't check out Atomic, and check in w/Irish for you next tattoo you're missing out.
Bear in mind that Atlas was done last night so right now it's a bit scabby, and the colors are not as vivid nor the detail as sharp as it will be when it heals. Will post more pics in 4-5 weeks. Plus, these were taken w/my camera phone so they're not the highest quality, but they'll have to suffice. It goes w/out saying both pieces look fantastic in the flesh (pun somewhat intended).
Hell, the day after getting the Atlas done, w/my arm still tender I already know what I'm gonna get next, and duh, yeah, Irish is gonna be the man.
